DARTMOUTH Golf Club kicked off a busy week with the ladies’ monthly Stableford.
Chris Mushens continued her return to form with 34 points, closely followed by Mary Thompson (33) and Karen Oldrieve (31). A 9-hole medal was also in play which was won by Barbara Dally, countback seeing her nett 36 score trump that of Sharon Jones.
The men’s midweek Stableford was also tight in both divisions. Steve Tozer celebrating his return to golf with a 38-point win in Division Two, whilst Robin Steer (39) came out on top in Division One.
Club Championships’ weekend was the flagship event and Lee Marels eased to victory off of +2, winning the Chairman’s Cup as a result. Keeping it in the family, dad Paul won the Members’ Cup for the lowest handicap score with a nett 136.
Beccy Barrett is the ladies’ Club Champion and winner of the Gardner Trophy as she boasted the lowest scratch score, whereas the Doble Trophy went the way of Chris Mushens.
