If your child is aged between 7 and 16 they can take part in the Physical Theatre Summer School at Dartington Estate Studio 1 Theatre.

The aim is to create a play in five days between August 12 and 16.

It runs each day between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

It’s the second even of it’s kind and 16 young people will be welcomed along.

It is being run by highly experienced degree-level facilitators Sarah Veevers and Danielle Mcliven and pastoral support with enhanced DBS checks.

There will be physical fun, games, make friends, drama, acting, move create, devise and perform.

The event has been organised by Playground, the young people’s dance theatre.

A parent said: “Loved the organic, spontaneous, dynamic and child-led ideas.
