DARTMOUTH AFC were narrowly beaten at home by the University of Exeter in one of two Devon Football League games this weekend.
The majority of the teams in that division were in Sportslighting Premier Cup action but Dartmouth had their fixture plus Topsham Town 1st XI visited Plymstock United 1st XI.
Teddy Hall, Adam MacPherson and Xavier de Pedro were on target for Exeter whilst Kyle Graham struck for Dartmouth in the first half and Bradley Butterfield found the back of the net after the break.
The reverse of this fixture took place the weekend prior with Exeter winning that one 4-1 but it was a much tighter affair this time around at Longcross.
This defeat leaves Dartmouth 10th out of 16 teams, with a record of 4-1-5 for a total of 13 points.
Next up, on Saturday 12, they will travel to the aforementioned Plymstock, who are 13th, presenting a great opportunity for three points.
