Loddiswell got the new year off to a superb start in a nine-goal thriller at the playing fields.

Loddiswell were, incredibly, playing their first league fixture since November 10, when they drew 3-3 with Kingskerswell and Chelston, thanks to the weather which has so hampered the sport this winter.

Tomorrow's game sees sixth-placed Loddiswell visit Kingskerswell, currently two places above them, for the return fixture.

Kick-off is 2.30pm at Armada Park for what should be a cracking match-up.
