DARTMOUTH ladies recently participated in a par competition, which can be tricky as there is scant reward for a handicap par but great satisfaction can be had when you beat the course.

The top four ladies in the Dartmouth competition did just that, with countback needed to separate them. Jules Vincent took first place on countback from Chris Mushens (+4) and Jan Cousins took third place from Mary Thompson (+1).

Meanwhile, in the Saturday Mixed Stableford, the top three players in Division One were also separated on count back - Steve Maris, Kevin Eighteen and Jack Kirby all scoring 35 points.

In Division Two, it was welcome back to Kevin Hoare, who took first place with 38 points, followed by John Garner (37 pts) and Rob Knight (35 pts).
