DARTMOUTH AFC continue to impress in the Devon Football League, securing a 12th win of the campaign on Saturday, March 1.

Charlie Stevens opened the scoring on the brink of half-time at Thorverton and then goals after the break from Lucas Robinson and Sam Hext sent Darts on their way to the three points.

Meanwhile, a defeat for third-placed Beer Albion sees the trio of Plymouth Marjon, Dartmouth and Appledore gain ground on the podium spots. Sitting on 40, 38 and 38 points respectively with Ottery St Mary also on 38, they are bunched together tightly in the standings.

University of Exeter had the standout result in the DFL over the weekend as they scored five goals in each half to sink Budleigh Salterton emphatically.

Looking ahead now and League Cup action awaits Robbie Bowker’s Dartmouth on Saturday 8- the aforementioned Ottery visit Longcross for a 2:30pm kick-off.
