THE majority of the weekend’s fixtures in the Devon Football League were fulfilled whilst Dartmouth AFC were scheduled for another week off.
North Molton Sports Club beating Bere Alston 7-1 is the standout result with University of Exeter and Plymstock United also enjoying notable wins at either end of the table.
With no midweek games to worry about, Dartmouth know they will go into their next game in seventh place.
Thorverton is their destination on Saturday 7 as they return to action and there is only two places and a single point separating the pair in the standings.
Dartmouth boast a record of 7-2-6 and are the team with the advantage, but Thorverton have a game in hand and would leapfrog Robbie Bowker’s side if they were to win on the weekend.
University of Exeter (2nd) vs Alphington (1st) is another DFL clash to keep an eye on with the latter having played four more games.
