DARTMOUTH FC enjoyed a victory away from home in the Devon Football League thanks to a convincing second-half performance.
Gareth McEwen opened the scoring for the visitors before Plymstock United hit back with an equaliser.
Brad Butterfield netted directly from a free-kick to restore the lead for his team and then Stu Bowker added a brace to the put the game to bed for Dartmouth.
Frustrations clearly boiled over for Plymstock as they finished the game with nine men. One dismissal was a straight red for hands in the face of Robbie Chalk and then the second saw a second yellow given out for arguing with the referee.
Dartmouth are in ninth out of 16 teams after this win, sitting on 16 points, and they will hope to continue building momentum when Appledore come to town on Saturday, 19.
