IVYBRIDGE made light work of a seven-wicket win over Plymouth 2nd XI that kept them out in front of the rest at the top of the C Division West.
Plymouth were all out for 141 with more than three of their 45 overs unused. Ivy meanwhile lost wickets at 18, 52 and 106 on the way to preserving their unbeaten start to the season.
Elsewhere, Kingsbridge gave Paignton 2nd XI a real scare before going down to a 20-run defeat at the Butts.
Opener Sam Simcox top scored on 53 for Paignton, who were bowled out for 195 in the last of their 45 overs.
On the flipside, from 163 for nine it was a short stumble to 175 all out for Kings.
Finally, Ivybridge 2nd XI held on for a nine-run win over Dartington & Totnes in the South Hams derby on the Foxhole ground in D Division West. 237-8 was Ivy’s total and then D&T were all out for 228, despite Jono Lloyd’s century.
