TOTNES Bowling Club have endured mixed fortunes across their various teams this season.
The men’s ‘A’ team has suffered from postponements due to bad weather, whilst their home match against Chudleigh resulted in only one win from the four rinks and two league points to Chudleigh’s 12.
A clash with Newton Abbot ‘B’ provided a much better result, winning overall by 85 shots to 62 and claiming 10 of the 14 league points up for grabs.
In the Mid-Devon League Division Two, Totnes are currently in 7th place with a score of 42 points, but only a few points behind those ahead and have games in hand also.
Meanwhile, the Ladies’ team has fared much better, accruing eight league points to the two of Brixham Furzeham and then four to the six of Brixham St. Mary’s.
They then followed that defeat up two days later with a healthy win against Dawlish Marina ‘A’, earning eight league points compared to two for Marina.
