Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a woman was seriously injured in car crash on the A385 near Totnes.

The victim, who is in her 70s, suffered life-threatening injuries when the silver Honda Jazz she was driving collided with a silver Honda Civic on Saturday (May 25).

The emergency services were called to the scene at around 8.40pm and the woman, who is from the Brixham area, was rushed to Derriford Hospital for treatment.

The driver of the Honda Civic, a male in his 20s, as well as the front seat passenger of the vehicle, also a male in his 20s, sustained minor injuries and were released at the scene.

Police are appealing to anyone with relevant information or dash-cam footage which may assist the investigation to contact them through their website or by calling 101, quoting log number 943 of 25 May.
