Making the headlines around Totnes this week is an event that took place last weekend aimed at healing the wounds left by the closure of Dartington College of Arts eight years ago.

The chief executive of Dartington Hall Trust pledged to "put right" what many perceive to be a failure by the trust to celebrate the college’s legacy.

Our picture story shows town councillors meeting with Frack Free Totnes at the Guildhall - with their story inside.

Also inside we cover the world-famous Dart 10k that took place over the weekend, with a record number of participants taking to the River Dart, making it the biggest wild swim in the county ever.

As ever, we have ’Around the Clubs’, ’Village Voice’, and the always-entertaining ’Letters to the Editor’.

All of this and much, much more news inside.
