A man who is planning on running in the Torbay Half Marathon has already doubled his target of monies raised.

Richard Scanlon, from Chillington, has raised more than £500 for Rowcroft Hospice ahead of the Torbay Half Marathon in June.

Richard said: “I am aware of the incredible support and direct services that Rowcroft provides to people and families during the most challenging time of their lives.

“Rowcroft Hospice runs on charitable donations and provides essential care and comfort to many people in south Devon.”

Rowcroft Hospice provides palliative and end of life care to adults living in south Devon.
