A distinguished South Hams author will see two of his plays produced back to back in London in the new year.
Alexander or Sandy Matthews has had a glittering and varied career that includes teaching philosophy in some of America’s top universities alongside writing plays, poetry and prose.
And now the long-time South Hams resident, currently living in Kingsbridge is to see two of his works, Screaming Secrets and Glass Roots performed at the Tristan Bates Theatre in Covent Garden, produced by Arden Entertainment.
Both plays will be directed by Jack Klaff, a well known actor, director and writer who appeared in the original Star Wars films, among a large body of other work.
Screaming Secrets runs from January 31 to February 24, 2018, with Glass Roots opening on February 28 and running to March 24. The plays are also on sale online and, in the case of Screaming Secrets, in local bookshops.
