MORE snow and ice are expected overnight as the Met Office issues another Yellow Warning of bad weather.

The alert for snow and ice covers from 6pm tonight, Tuesday, until Noon tomorrow.

A Met Office spokespersonwarns: ‘A few snow showers will affect these areas overnight and into Wednesday morning.

‘Accumulations of a couple of centimetres are likely at low levels, with some of the higher ground seeing as much as 5-10 cm.

‘In addition, icy stretches are likely to form following showers.’
