John Trant has been elected as the latest Totnes Town Councillor.
At the election held on Thursday June 20, he received 423 votes.
The turnout was 19.86 per cent and there were 14 spoilt ballot papers.
The result was announced by the Deputy Returning Officer at Totnes Town Council Helen Jarvis.
