Two environmental charities - Surfers Against Sewage and Less Plastic are organising a beach clean at East Portlemouth on Saturday, as part of the South Hams Beach Clean Series.
All are welcome to help tackle the problem of plastic in our oceans, and those interested should meet at 10am on the beach, by the ferry landing.
Gloves and bags will be provided and the Venus Cafe at East Portlemouth will be supporting the event by providing free tea, coffee and hot chocolate to all volunteers.
Organisers have asked volunteers to bring their own reusable coffee cups to help reduce plastic waste.
Suggested parking is in the Mill Bay National Trust car park (with a short walk back along the road to East Portlemouth).
Or alternatively, park in Salcombe and take the ferry across the estuary.
