Lydia Perraton is arranging the fundraiser for the Devon Air Ambulance Trust to thank them for the role they played in her recovery after a severe injury last summer.
Lydia had been involved in a farming accident and sustained injuries to her leg. However, she was quickly airlifted to Bristol Children’s Hospital where after extensive surgery, her leg was remarkably rebuilt.
She has since made an amazing recovery.
Lydia’s mother, Vicci Camp, believes the ambulance getting to Bristol Children’s Hospital in 40 minutes was paramount in the outcome and speed of her daughter’s recovery.
She said: “We will always be indebted to them.”
