Police have continued to crack down on the issue of drugs around the area, as two more people have been caught with Class A drugs.
As part of an ongoing operation to combat the supply and use of Class A drugs, police carried out a warrant at a residential address in Kingsbridge as well as stopped a vehicle near Salcombe, where both were found with a quantity of controlled drugs.
The warrant that was executed at an address in Kingsbridge on March 21 was a result of community information and the occupant was detained at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle near Salcombe on March 24 had already been disqualified from driving, and was reported for the offences and will receive a court summons.
Police are reminding the public that if they have any information about drug supply and use to call Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
A police spokesman said: “Positive action such as this is a result of community information.”
