KINGSBRIDGE police officers were called to a fatal tractor accident in East Portlemouth on Friday.

A spokesperson for the police said: ‘On Friday morning, emergency services were called to an address in East Portlemouth following reports that a male had been injured on a farm.

‘The Devon Air Ambulance also attended but regrettably a local man was pronounced dead at the scene.

‘The incident is under investigation by the Police on behalf of HM Coroner, and the Health and Safety Executive are also conducting an investigation.

‘Our sincere thoughts and condolences go out to the friends and family.’
