Are you looking for a safe place to lay up your boat for the winter in Devon?
You’ve chosen the right area to come ashore, as the county holds some of the best boatyards in the country, including Baltic Wharf, which is easily accessible from Totnes, Lincombe Boatyard, at the north end of Salcombe Harbour, and Blackness Marine, which is opposite Stoke Gabriel.
With all the services a boat owner could ask for, any of these reliable providers is sure to be the right place for your boat.
Friendly riverside yard to lay up boats in winter
Baltic Wharf Boatyard continues to welcome customers new and old for laying up their boats for the winter at the friendly riverside yard at Totnes.
We offer sheltered hard-standing, in cradles if required, supplied free by the yard. At Baltic Wharf the boatyard area is made up of concrete and hard-standing, thanks to a previous life as a timber yard. This means the yard, and your boat, stay clean and safe. The yard is fully serviced with mains water standpipes and electricity supplies (available on a contract or day to day).
Marine chandlery services are available on-site, and marine engineering services also available, including boat repairs, rigging and yacht brokers. Have your boat lifted by a specialist team, pressure washed below the waterline and stored for the winter, all at competitive prices.
Baltic Wharf Boatyard is easily accessible by water on the tide at Totnes and your winter visits and spring fitout will allow you to enjoy the unique attractions of the town. If you would like to enquire about winter storage, please call Trish on 01803 867922 or email [email protected]. The yard is ready for customers old and new.
